Khan Academy to Launch New High School Biology Course in July 2024

Current Biology Content to Be Archived

Khan Academy has announced that its current Biology content will be retired in July 2024 and replaced with a brand-new high school Biology course aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). The new course will offer a comprehensive exploration of the science of life, from cells and genetics to evolution and ecology.

The current Biology content, which includes over 100 videos, 100 articles, and 400 practice questions, will be archived and no longer updated. However, students and educators will still have access to this content through the Biology Archive.

Khan Academy's decision to retire its current Biology content is part of its ongoing efforts to provide students with the most up-to-date and engaging learning experience possible. The new Biology course has been developed with input from teachers and experts and is designed to meet the needs of today's students.
